This one is for the toes!

I cannot stress enough about how much I love these!!!! They totally saved my toes this weekend. I was running around for 48 hours straight in these puppies and my feet held up! Thank you TOMS. I <3 You!

A Wedding in the Wine Country

A few weeks ago I had the honor and privilege of working on a wedding of two beautiful people in Napa, California. The forecast called for a weekend of cold, wet and dreary but we planned ahead to make sure that the wedding was the complete opposite. From fabulous food, incredible live music and a top notch guest list - this wedding was one for the books! What makes your events memorable?

Last week I hosted Rosh Hashana dinner for our family and friends. The day before, I decided to take on the challenge of making round challah to accompany our meal. I say challenge, because yes, it does take the entire day to make this delicious recipe. It's the little things (or those labor intensive things) that make each and every event special. They came out so good that I decided to send them to my friends and family. Here is a photo of my yummy creations!

With the recent celebration of the Jewish New Year, I have set a new goal for myself. In the last year I have really neglected this blog and going forward will continue to keep this up to date. In the last year, I have been pregnant, had a baby and ultimately got this business off the ground! Wow! It has been extremely exciting. I have to say I am proud of everything that I have been able to accomplish. So, this post reminds me of just what makes life so special. Each and everyday I wake up to this little guy and his big huge smile. I am a lucky lady!

A Weekend in Wine Country

On Wednesday, I received a great email from a college friend. She is going to be spending the weekend in Wine Country with her boyfriend and asked me for suggestions. I created this google map for her with a great selection of places to go, wine to drink and of course, delicious food to eat. I know she is going to have the best time! Wish I were going with them! Some of my favorite spots in this map are: Frank Family Vineyards, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Close Pegase Winery and Willi's Seafood and Wine Bar.

Mira and Brian's Baby Shower

Mira and Brian are anxiously awaiting the arrival of "LK"! To celebrate, 50 of their closest family and friends gathered together on Saturday afternoon for a little celebration. Everyone had such a great time! Little "LK" 's room is going to be decorated in a Jungle Animal theme. So, we thought it would be a good idea to get everyone in the mood too. We had Giraffe sugar cookies, Jungle animal themed cupcakes and lots of great baby games. Everyone was asked to sign a large quilt with welcome wishes to the Karp Family. The best part is, they got take it home with them. Here are a few photos...more to come!
