This one is for the toes!

I cannot stress enough about how much I love these!!!! They totally saved my toes this weekend. I was running around for 48 hours straight in these puppies and my feet held up! Thank you TOMS. I <3 You!

A Wedding in the Wine Country

A few weeks ago I had the honor and privilege of working on a wedding of two beautiful people in Napa, California. The forecast called for a weekend of cold, wet and dreary but we planned ahead to make sure that the wedding was the complete opposite. From fabulous food, incredible live music and a top notch guest list - this wedding was one for the books! What makes your events memorable?

Last week I hosted Rosh Hashana dinner for our family and friends. The day before, I decided to take on the challenge of making round challah to accompany our meal. I say challenge, because yes, it does take the entire day to make this delicious recipe. It's the little things (or those labor intensive things) that make each and every event special. They came out so good that I decided to send them to my friends and family. Here is a photo of my yummy creations!

With the recent celebration of the Jewish New Year, I have set a new goal for myself. In the last year I have really neglected this blog and going forward will continue to keep this up to date. In the last year, I have been pregnant, had a baby and ultimately got this business off the ground! Wow! It has been extremely exciting. I have to say I am proud of everything that I have been able to accomplish. So, this post reminds me of just what makes life so special. Each and everyday I wake up to this little guy and his big huge smile. I am a lucky lady!
